About PerPrev-CID

The PerPrev-CID project aims to develop innovative tools for early diagnosis and personalised interventions in two chronic inflammatory diseases (CIDs), rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). By integrating biomarkers, clinical data, and digital health technologies, the project seeks to advance disease prediction and prevention, ultimately enhancing personalised healthcare and improving outcomes for people living with these conditions.

In PerPrev-CID, we aim to advance our understanding of early disease progression in RA and IBD by investigating mechanisms, identifying biomarkers, and developing innovative, patient-centred outcome measures. We actively involve people living with or at risk of these conditions in the research process, supporting informed choices, and empower healthcare professionals with the knowledge and tools needed for more effective, individualised care.
